The retail business opportunity is going to open new stores in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. Adopting the franchise model, it will also move into China, where one of its major manufacturing plants is located.
Danube already owns 22 outlets in the UAE, Oman, India, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. It has invested AED50m in a brand new manufacturing facility in Dubai’s Technopark, which will open in 2011.

“We are taking major strides to acquire major market share thought the MENA region in the next five years. We believe that this is the perfect time to expand to be able to place ourselves in a strategic position to fully leverage the opportunities once the market fully recovers,” Sajan said.
